====== Dojo ====== ==== Dojo's WIFI & Mobile Data ==== {{ :services:dojomel.png?400 |}} Having an Integrated WIFI pin pad has the possibility of more connection’s issues, than a standalone wired solution, however if you are having daily problems, this could be down to the following: You must be on the Black Dojo Screen for the PDQ to be available. Going in to reports and settings makes the PDQ status busy. Your Dojo integrated card machine is connected to a network by WIFI or built in Mobile Data if the WIFI is not available. If your WIFI drops it can take up to 2 minutes for the Dojo card machine to change from WIFI to Mobile Data. ===== Basic Trouble Shooting ===== The Fashione Support desk is usually your first point of call when you have an issue with your card machine. Some cases this may not be possible so here is a basic trouble shooting guide. Please note we do advise that if you can call please do. Fashione Support Number 01257 512 301 Monday to Friday 09:00 – 17:30 Saturday/Sunday/ Bank holidays Closed Emergency On Call If an error on the till appears: * Go to mangers Screen * Press Close POS * Press Yes to Confirmation Message * Re Open POS If error doesn’t clear, there are two options - Ring the Support Desk - Do your own basic troubleshooting As the card machine is cloud based 95% of the time an error would be a internet connection issue. Sometime a reboot will resolve this. ==== Rebooting Card Machine ==== * Close POS * On the pin pad press the blue power button at the side until options come up on the screen. * Press Reboot ==== Rebooting Till ==== * Close POS * Press Windows Start Menu - Power Button - Restart ==== Rebooting Router ==== * Reboot Router till healthy broadband light * Close POS * Re Open **Rebooting Router 9/10 fixes internet connection issues.** ===== More Advanced Trouble Shooting ===== If your WIFI drops it can take up to 2 minutes for the Dojo card machine to change from WIFI to Mobile Data. What is your WIFI Signal Strength? What is your Mobile Data Strength? If your WIFI strength or connection is poor this can cause connection issues. When the card machine cannot connect, is the broadband router showing that the broadband has an issue? Contact your internet provider and ask them if they can see any issues with your WIFI on your router. Is the WIFI unstable? If they say they have checked the line, ask them does checking the lines check the WIFI stability. How far away is your broadband router from the dojo machine? The future away, the worst your signal will be. Moving this closer or getting WIFI boosters could help connection. Have you checked for interference? E.g a customer’s faulty microwave once was blocking the WIFI when switched on.
