Selling and Using Gift Cards

Gift Cards replaces the Paper Gift Vouchers. The Gift Card feature has to be switched on to enable the use of Gift Cards.

Gift Cards must have a certain specification to be used with Fashione. Please see specification here.

From the transaction screen you can sell a gift cardon its own or as part of a transaction with product sales.

• Press Gift V
• Sell Gift Voucher. Press Ok
• Enter Gift Voucher Amount. Press Ok
• Scan Gift Card
• You will be now taken back to the transaction screen
• Select Payment Method and Finalise as normal.
• The Gift Card is now loaded with the amount, and the transaction receipt will print.

Gift Cards are redeemed the same way but have different steps depending on the transactions amount.

• Scan item(s) on transaction screen
• Select Voucher Tender
• Scan Gift Card
• Press Finalise
• Discard or you can reuse the card.

• Scan item(s) on transaction screen
• Select Voucher Tender
• Scan Gift Card
• Additional Tender Screen will show.
• Select the other tender they are paying with.
• Press Finalise
• Discard or you can reuse the card.

• Scan item(s) on transaction screen
• Select Voucher Tender
• Scan Gift Card
• Press Finalise
• The Cards Balance will be Updated.

• Press Gift V
• Select Check gift card balance.
• Scan Card, Balance will appear.

Gift Cards do not require to be part of cashing up or end of day. Fashione works this out for you.

Gift Card information can be viewed in the back office under paper money.

The software does not change to say Gift Card when enabled, it always displays Gift Voucher.
